The Blue Groove Spade bits feature double cutting spurs that scribe the outside of the hole reducing breakout. The bits have a thicker cutting edge that gives the bit more durability and a longer cutting life. The patented Blue-Groove Point and Cutting Edge makes for faster chip removal, resulting in faster drilling. The Shanks of the Blue Grooves are also thicker than traditional spade bits for durability.
